What is sleep better with yoga?

Sleep better with yoga is a 12 week digital yoga program for women during menopause. 

You will learn how yoga and meditation can help you sleep better and give you more energy to feel more productive. You will learn how your body changes during menopause and how yoga can be a benefit in your life.

Yoga nidra, also called yogic sleep is a longer recorded guided meditation, aimed at helping you connect to and balance your nervous system.

During the course you will receive 6 shorter recorded meditations to help you connect to yourself. Perfect to do when you only have a few minutes to practice.

Why yoga is a beneficial tool for better sleep

Yoga has many benefits, including better sleep

Through yoga you can balance the mind and body by promoting a physiological state of calm and rest, as opposed to a stress respons characterized by “flight-or-fight”.  This concept, known as maintaining “homeostasis”, refers to the maintenance of a stable internal environment, which is a task of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is divided into the sympathetic nervous system, which is activated under stress and in physically demanding situations, and the parasympathetic nervous system, which is most active in a state of rest

Yoga has shown to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. Increased activity in this part of this nervous system leads to a reduction in the heart’s pumping activity and lowered blood pressure. This can help to promote a state of calm and rest, and a favorable physiological state for sleep.

Start up (Monday 4th September) Evening Yin yoga ones a week (Mail with recording every Wednesday). You receive one yoga nidra, two meditations

Week 40-43

Afternoon YangYin yoga ones a week (Mail with recording every Wednesday.) You receive one yoga nidra and two meditations

Week 44-47

Morning yoga flow ones a week. (Mail with recording every Wednesday morning). You receive one yoga nidra and two meditations.

You are welcome to join wether you’re in menopause or not, but the course will mainly focus on what’s happening in the body before, during and after menopause. 

You pay securely by vipps or invoice.  

You can cancel and get the money back two weeks due to course start.

The course will mainly be in Norwegian, but if any needs English, the live zoom calls will be in English and I’ll make the recordings both in Norwegian and English.
